Warriors Trade Lyon to Kelowna Rockets

Moose Jaw, Sask. - Director of Hockey Operations Alan Millar announced today the acquisition of a pair of draft picks, a 7th round in 2013 and a 5th round pick in 2014 from the Kelowna Rockets in exchange for forward Brett Lyon.

"Brett was a true warrior," said Director of Hockey Operations, Alan Millar. "Our organization would like to thank Brett for his time and contribution to our club and want to wish him all the best with the Rockets."

Brett Lyon is in his second season with the Warriors. He has played 41 games for the Warriors this season, recording 11 goals and 17 assists for 28 points. Last season, Lyon joined the Warriors after playing 25 games with the Vancouver Giants.
