Rockets Acquire 20-Year-Old Forward

The Kelowna Rockets have acquired 20-year-old forward Brett Lyon from the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for two WHL bantam draft picks.

The Rockets sent a 5th round pick in 2014 and a 7th round pick 2013 to the Warriors in exchange for Lyon.

Lyon was in his second season with Moose Jaw. He played 41 games for the Warriors this season, recording 11 goals and 17 assists for 28 points. Last season, Lyon joined the Warriors after playing 25 games with the Vancouver Giants.
