Prince Albert SK - The Prince Albert Raiders have finalized their roster at 23 players, as the Western Hockey League trade deadline passed at 4:00 PM local time.

The Raiders began their post-Christmas roster movement with a trade on December 28th in which the Raiders acquired 19-year-old forward Anthony Bardaro, 18-year-old goaltender Luke Lee-Knight and a 5th round selection in 2012 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft from the Spokane Chiefs. In exchange, the Raiders sent 18-year-old goaltender Eric Williams and 18-year-old forward Todd Fiddler to Spokane.

On December 31st, the Raiders traded 20-year-old forward Brandon Herrod to the Kamloops Blazers, 17-year-old forward Logan McVeigh and a 2nd round pick in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.

Yesterday, the Raiders sent a 5th round selection in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft to the Tri-City Americans, receiving 17-year-old defenceman Riley Guenther in return.

Today, the Raiders trimmed their roster by re-assigning 18-year-old defenceman Mathew Berry-Lamontagna to the Westside Warriors of the British Columbia Hockey League.

The Raiders' roster now consists of 14 forwards, 7 defencemen and 2 goaltenders for a total 23 players. The age breakdown of the Raiders is as follows: 2 20-year-olds, 5 19-year-olds, 6 18-year-olds, 8 17-year-olds and 2 16-year-olds.
