
Blues Recall Evgeny Grachev

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has recalled forward Evgeny Grachev from the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Grachev, 21, has recorded two assists in 17 appearances with the Blues this season as well as dressed in three games with the Rivermen.
Last season, he spent the majority of the season with the AHL's Hartford Wolfpack/Connecticut Whale and recorded 38 points (16 goals, 22 assists) in 73 games. In two seasons in Hartford, the 6'4", 224-pound forward played in 153 games, and accumulated 66 points (28 goals, 38 assists) along with 38 penalty minutes.
The Khabarovsk, Russia native was acquired by the Blues from the New York Rangers in exchange for a third round draft choice in 2011 (Steven Fogarty) on June 25, 2011.
