TONIGHT: The Richmond Flying Squirrels and Harrisburg Senators will meet in the opener of a five-game, four-day series...The Flying Squirrels swept a doubleheader to complete a four-game series sweep of the Trenton Thunder Thursday night, walking off with a 3-2 win in the opener before scoring two runs in the bottom of the sixth to claim a 2-1 win in game two in front of 7,119 fans at The Diamond.

#WINNING: The Flying Squirrels have matched their longest winning streak of the season with victories in each of their last four contests...The club also won four straight games 6/24-6/27...Richmond also improved to a season-best six games over .500 at 45-39...The team's best mark in the two-year history of the franchise is nine games over .500 at 22-13 last season.

THE SWEEP-NESS: The Flying Squirrels swept yesterday's doubleheader against Trenton en route to sweeping the four-game series from the Thunder...It was the first doubleheader sweep of the season for the club and its second in the two-year history of the franchise...The team also swept a doubleheader at New Britain 4/27/10...It was also the second series sweep of the season for Richmond and its first sweep of a four-game series ever...The Flying Squirrels swept a three-game series from the Erie SeaWolves 6/24-6/26...Prior to its sweep of Erie this season, the last series sweep for Richmond occurred 6/25/10-6/27/10 at Erie...The club swept four series, all three-game sets, in 2010.

FLAIR FOR THE DRAMATIC: The Flying Squirrels walked off with their second straight walkoff win the game one of yesterday's doubleheader with Trenton...Outfielder Francisco Peguero blasted a walkoff grand slam in game two of the series Tuesday night...The club has registered five walkoff victories this season, matching its total from 2010...Richmond also improved to 5-29 when trailing after six innings with its game one win in the bottom of the seventh inning...With a pair of one-run victories, the Flying Squirrels are now 9-15 overall in one-run games this season.

ALEXANDER THE GREAT: Left-hander Alex Hinshaw extended his scoreless innings streak to 12 1/3, tossing a perfect 1 1/3 yesterday to earn his first win with the Flying Squirrels...The 28-year-old has limited opponents to a .053 (2-for-38) batting average over the streak spanning his last nine appearances while striking out 14 batters and walking four.

PITCHING IN: The Flying Squirrels pitching staff leads the Eastern League with a 3.00 ERA through 84 games and has allowed a league-low 295 runs...Richmond's pitching staff has allowed two runs or less in 33 of its 84 games (39%)...Starting pitching has allowed three runs or less in 62 of the team's 84 games (74%) and the club is 40-22 in those contests...The club's 3.00 ERA is the lowest among all of the full-season MiLB teams.

NO PLACE LIKE HOME: The Flying Squirrels have begun a stretch where they will play 20 out of 27 games at home including a doubleheader against Harrisburg 7/9...The club is 30-15 at home and is batting .258 in 45 games at The Diamond while averaging 4.67 runs per game at home (210R/45G)...Overall, the club is 15-24 on the road, and is batting .207 and averaging 3.33 runs per game (130R/39G) in 39 road contests.
