Portland Sea Dogs News Release

Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs return to Hadlock Field after a short road trip to Trenton, New Jersey to take on the Reading Phillies (Phillies) this Friday through Sunday. The three-day homestand, running from June 4th through June 6th features many events activities that all Sea Dogs fans can enjoy. Additionally, there have been game time changes for both the Friday June 4th game and the Saturday, June 5th game.

The Friday, June 4th game has been changed to a 6:00 PM start time, original game time was 7:00 PM. This is due to a suspended game; on Thursday, May 27th when the Portland Sea Dogs were playing the Reading Phillies in Reading, Pennsylvania the game was suspended due to rain in the top of the 6th inning with the Portland Sea Dogs leading 6-4. The Sea Dogs do not return to Reading this season, therefore that game will be completed at Hadlock Field on Friday, June 4th prior to the regularly scheduled nine inning game. The game will resume with the Sea Dogs batting in the top of the 6th inning at 6:00 PM. Once that game is completed, the regularly scheduled game for June 4th will be played. Tickets for June 4th are good for both the suspended game and the regularly scheduled game. Gates open at 4:30 PM.

Additionally, due to a May 4th rain out at Hadlock Field between the Reading Phillies and Portland Sea Dogs, the Saturday, June 5th game will be a single admission doubleheader. Game time has been changed to 5:00 PM to accommodate the doubleheader, original start time was 6:00 PM. Tickets for the June 5th game are good for both games of the doubleheader. Eastern League doubleheaders consist of two- seven inning games.
