Rock Cats Make Roster Transactions

New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats of the Eastern League had two roster transactions today, with each involving a Catcher.

C Danny Lehmann, the 24-year-old Rice University product who Minnesota selected in the 8th Round of the 2007 Draft, is rejoining the Rock Cats' active roster from the Disabled List. The 5'11"/185-pound receiver suffered a strain in his left (non-throwing) shoulder in a May 1st collision at home plate in Portland, ME. He went to the DL May 5th; prior to his injury, The Woodlands, TX resident appeared in 16 games for the 2010 Rock Cats and batted .229.

C Allan de San Miguel, the 22-year-old native of Perth, Australia, has been reassigned by Minnesota to Ft. Myers in the Single-A, Florida State League. The 5'10"/200-pound de San Miguel was an important contributor to the 2010 Rock Cats; in 13 games, he batted .270 with 3 Doubles and 10 RBI. He was signed by the Twins as a Non Drafted Free Agent in 2004.
