Goaltender Mannino Assigned By Islanders

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that goaltender Peter Mannino has been assigned to the team by the NHL's New York Islanders.
The Grizzlies are proud to be the ECHL affiliate of the Islanders and their AHL affiliate in Bridgeport.
Mannino, a rookie out of the University of Denver was 9-10-2 this year in Bridgeport with a 3.09 goals-against-average and a .895 save percentage while also appearing in one game with the Islanders.
The 24-year-old played college hockey at the University of Denver where he was a teammate of current Utah forward Tom May.
The Grizzlies return to action Friday and Saturday when they will host Phoenix at the E-Center. Face-off both nights is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
