
Chiefs Announce USA Hockey Scavenger Hunt

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Johnstown Chiefs, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets, and the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters and Syracuse Crunch, announced today a scavenger hunt to help celebrate Hockey Weekend Across America that will also give fans a chance to win free Chiefs tickets!
The scavenger hunt involves six USA hockey pucks that have been hidden in six arenas throughout the region. The individuals who find these pucks can claim their prize of two free tickets by calling the Chiefs office. The tickets will be good for any one of the Chiefs' three home games during Hockey Weekend Across America from Feb. 13-15. In addition to free tickets, the scavenger hunt winners will receive a guided tour of the historic Cambria County War Memorial during the game. The tour will include a visit to the press box, Slap Shot Lounge, luxury suites, and the Chiefs' locker room! If you are the first to find a puck, call the Chiefs at 814-539-1799 to reserve your tickets. The hunt will begin tomorrow, Feb. 6 and last until Friday, Feb. 13 at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Northern Cambria Recreation Center - Ebensburg
Indiana Ice Center (S & T Bank Arena) - Indiana
Galactic Ice - Altoona
Kirk Nevin Arena - Greensburg
February 13-15 is USA Hockey Weekend Across America and the Johnstown Chiefs are at home for three games that weekend. Come out and celebrate the great game of hockey in Johnstown as the Chiefs take on Reading, Trenton, and Wheeling. Each game during the weekend has a different theme, and they are:
February 13 - Wear your favorite hockey jersey - Game time 7:05 p.m.
February 14 - Bring a friend to the rink - Game time 7:05 p.m.
February 15 - Celebrate local hockey heroes - Game time 2:30 p.m.
On February 15, the Chiefs are honoring one of the greatest hockey players to play in Johnstown, Reg Kent. The former Johnstown Jet will have his number seven retired and raised to the rafters alongside Galen Head, Don Hall, and Dick Roberge.

Mark your calendars, the Chiefs are back on home ice on Friday, February 13 as they take on the Reading Royals at 7:05.
