Bombers Trade LaPointe to Bakersfield

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Bombers have traded center Danny LaPointe to the Bakersfield Condors in exchange for future considerations, head coach Bill McDonald announced today.

LaPointe had 10 goals and 13 assists in 43 games with the Bombers this season, while being whistled for 51 PIM. He had a team-high three shorthanded goals on the year.

The Victoria, British Columbia native joined the Bombers after playing his rookie season in the Central Hockey League with Oklahoma City and Rio Grande Valley, where he had a combined 16 points (10g,6a).

The Bombers hit the road on Friday for a meeting with the Wheeling Nailers. The team is next in action at home on Saturday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m. against the Johnstown Chiefs at Troy's historic Hobart Arena.
