
Yovani Gallardo Bobblehead Delayed in Customs

The Beloit Snappers have announced that their Yovani Gallardo Bobbleheads have been held up in customs and will NOT be here for the scheduled giveaway date of June 1st. Vouchers will STILL be passed out to the first 500 fans through the gates, good for ONE Yovani Gallardo bobblehead which can be picked up at the Snappers Main Office at a later date. All vouchers must be redeemed by September 15th, 2008. As soon as the bobbleheads clear customs and arrive at Pohlman Field, we will put out an announcement that they are available to be picked up.
Starting on Sunday, the Snappers will be taking on the Quad Cities River Bandits, class A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, for a four-game homestand. Game times for the upcoming series are as follows:
- Sunday, June 1st @ 4:00pm - Monday, June 2nd @ 7:00pm - Tuesday, June 3rd @ 7:00pm - Wednesday, June 4th @ 7:00pm
Sunday, June 1st is Yovani Gallardo bobblehead VOUCHER giveaway day! The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a VOUCHER good for ONE Gallardo bobblehead to be available at a later date, compliments of Pepsi.
Monday, June 2nd is another "Must Win Miller Monday!" The Snappers must win on Monday, otherwise every fan in attendance will receive a complimentary general admission ticket to the next Wednesday home game, courtesy of Ott-Schweitzer Distributing. Twelve ounce drafts of Miller products are also just $1.
Tuesday, June 3rd is "College & Dollar Night." Fans can get in the gates for just $1 with a valid college ID. You can also get hot dogs, soda, popcorn and 12oz drafts of Leinie's products for just $1, thanks to 104.5 FM WSLD and Ott-Schweitzer.
Wednesday, June 4th is Youth Baseball/Softball Night. Kids get in for FREE if they're dressed in their youth team uniform. Plastic bottles of Miller Lite and Miller Genuine Draft are also just $3 courtesy of Ott-Schweitzer Distributing.
