Fightin Phils Take Series with 10-6 Win over Curve
July 19, 2026 - READING, PA. - Catcher Derek Berg knocked a two-run homer in the sixth inning, the third home run of the game for the Curve, however, Reading hit four home runs of their own in a 10-6 win over the Curve.
Ryan McCarty started the day offensively with a two-run homer off Fightin Phils righty Gage Wood in the second inning. It was one of two baserunners the Curve could manage against Wood; who struck out a career-high nine batters over 4.0 innings.

Berg Picks up Four Hits in 9-5 Defeat
July 18, 2026 - READING, PA - Catcher Derek Berg picked up four of Altoona's 14 hits, but the Reading Fightin Phils picked up a 9-5 win over the Curve on Saturday night at First Energy Stadium.
Curve starter Peyton Stumbo picked up a career-high eight strikeouts despite suffering the loss. Stumbo struck out three in the second and two batters in each of his final two innings before departing in the fourth.

Gray's Homer, Bullpen Boost Curve to 6-2 Win at Reading
July 17, 2026 - READING, PA. - Altoona's bullpen fired five scoreless innings of relief and Murf Gray cranked a long solo homer in his Double-A debut to lead the Curve to a 6-2 win over the Reading Fightin Phils on Friday night at First Energy Stadium.
The Curve wasted no time getting the offense rolling in the top of the first. Keiner Delgado singled on the third pitch of the game and eventually scored on Callan Moss'RBI single.

Altoona Drops Final Game Before All-Star Break, 5-3
July 12, 2026 - CURVE, PA. - The Curve fell 5-3 to Richmond in the series and pre-break finale Sunday afternoon at Peoples Natural Gas Field.
Richmond scored three times off starter Connor Oliver, who made his second start of the series, and spun two innings. He allowed three earned runs on four hits including a two-run homer from Richmond's Jean Carlos Sio.
