Express Broadcaster Pete Knutson Once Again Selected for NWL Playoffs

August 13, 2025 - Eau Claire Express play-by-play broadcaster Pete Knutson was once again selected by the Northwoods League to be on the call for the league's playoff broadcasts, which began Sunday. He called the Great Plains East series between the La Crosse Loggers and the Duluth Huskies and will be on the mic once again for Wednesday evening's Great Plains Division championship between the Huskies and the Mankato MoonDogs. JJ Moran Named 2025 Express Most Valuable Player

August 10, 2025 - Shortstop JJ Moran (Stanford) has officially been named the 2025 Express Most Valuable Player. Despite only arriving in Eau Claire in mid-June, the Carlsbad, Calif., native lit up the Northwoods League and led the Express to an impressive offensive second half. Named a Northwoods League Postseason All-Star on Saturday, Moran put together an incredible July to charge his way to these honors.
