August 2, 2025 - Eau Claire, Wis - Don't look now, but the Express are 1.5 games back of first place in the Great Plains East.
Saturday evening's series opener between Eau Claire and Duluth was set to be the biggest game of the season at Carson Park. It lived up to the billing. Every play mattered as the Express outlasted the Huskies for a 2-1 victory to close the division race by a full game.

Northwoods League All-Star pitcher Walker Retz (St. Thomas) shined once again for Eau Claire and the lineup managed just enough offense to secure a 2-1 victory over Rochester to secure the series sweep.
Retz allowed a hit in each of the first two innings but worked around the traffic each time before posting three consecutive hitless frames from the third to the fifth. The first real trouble he ran into came ... Full Story
July 31, 2025 - Eau Claire, Wis. - Trailing by five in the seventh inning with only two hits on the night, the Express were staring down a series sweep to the Bucks. Then the comeback started. It was slow at first and then all at once as Eau Claire rallied to win 6-5.
Waterloo notched a run in the top of the seventh to extend its lead to 5-0 in a game it had controlled all night. The Express responded though, with JJ Moran (Stanford) singling to start the inning and eventually coming around to score on a double play for Eau Claire's firs... Full Story
July 30, 2025 - When Adam Salazar learned he was heading to Eau Claire for the summer, he wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Fresh off his first season at Cal State Bakersfield, Salazar had never played this far from home, let alone for a 72-game season full of arduous travel days.
But what he did know, and what made all the difference, was that he wouldn't be doing it alone.
