Big Sticks' Comeback Falls Short, Losing 5-4 to the St. Cloud Rox

August 1, 2025 - The Badlands Big Sticks (37-24), in the middle of a playoff push, fell short tonight against the St. Cloud Rox (42-18) in a game where the St. Cloud held all the momentum until the bottom of the 7th. The Rox struck first with an RBI double from Jackson Hauge, followed by an RBI single from Levi Lampert to take a 2-0 lead. On the bump for Badlands was freshman right-hander Tyler Weimer (Arkansas State University), who went three innings with a 3.78 ERA, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 K, 2 BB. Badlands Sweep the Bismarck Larks 5-3 and Own the Season Series 11-1

August 1, 2025 - The Badlands Big Sticks (37-23) came into last night's game looking to beat the Bismarck Larks (18-44) one final time in the season. Getting the call on the bump for Badlands was sophomore right-hander Collin Maloney (Arkansas State), who went three innings posting a 6.98 ERA, with 2 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 5 K, 3 BB. The Larks took control of the game early, jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the 3rd thanks to a 3-RBI triple from Ethan Crawford. Big Sticks Make It Ten in a Row against the Bismarck Larks in a 6-5 Win

July 30, 2025 - The Badlands Big Sticks scored the first run of the game on a throwing error in the bottom of the 1st after a leadoff double by Connor Massimini (East Texas Baptist) and a base hit by Maddox McDonald (Penn St). Connor Sackett (Butler) with a sac fly RBI to make it 2-0 in the 1st. Sackett had another sac fly RBI in the 3rd inning to make it 3-0 through three innings. Big Sticks Turn the Page and Get Back in the Win Column in a 9-6 Win vs the Bismarck Larks

July 27, 2025 - The Badlands Big Sticks make it eight wins in a row against the Bismarck Larks and improve to 9-1 against them this summer. The scoring started in the bottom of the 2nd inning from RBI singles by Thomas Maher (UC San Diego) and Maddox McDonald (Penn St). The third run of the inning scored on a double steal and an error on the second baseman for not squeezing the throw.
