January 28, 2026 - ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 today announced two new signings for the upcoming season. Defenders Mohamed Cisset and Matthew Senanou each signed for the 2026 season with a club option for 2027. Cisset, 21, was born in Montréal, Canada and joins ATL UTD 2 after one season with North Texas SC in MLS NEXT Pro. He started 20 of the 21 matches he played last season and finished the campaign with 1,653 minutes played and one goal scored. January 21, 2026 - ATLANTA - MLS NEXT Pro today announced the 2026 regular season schedule. Atlanta United 2 will open the season on March 1 on the road at New England Revolution II, while Decision Day is set for Sunday, Sept. 20 on the road at Orlando City B. With Kennesaw State University set to serve as a training venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, ATL UTD 2 will play its first eight home matches at the Turner Soccer Complex on the campus of the University of Georgia through mid-July. December 17, 2025 - ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 today announced its first new signings for the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season. Forward Liam Butts, defender Daniel Chica and winger Cameron Dunbar all signed one-year deals with a club option for 2027. Atlanta United 2 Names Jose Silva as Head Coach

December 15, 2025 - ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 today announced that it has promoted Jose Silva to head coach. The Spain-native was named interim head coach on July 23, 2025 after the departure of Steve Cooke. Silva will report to Director of Methodology Javier Peréz, who oversees the player pathway from the Academy to the second team. Silva's staff will consist of assistant coach Will Bates, who is being promoted from his U-16 Academy head coach role, goalkeeper coach Lewis Sharpe and video analyst Ricky Wolff.
