The Zephyrs and Omaha Royals continued its weekend of doubleheader baseball on Sunday playing four games in less than 24 hours. The Z's and Omaha split the games on Saturday and Sunday. Kila Ka'aihue drove in two runs and the Royals defeated the Zephyrs 7-4 in game one. The two teams battled back and fourth in the second game with the Z's getting a 7-4 win in extra innings. Scott Cousins bases loaded double scored three runs in the ninth inning. Scott Strickland pitched 2.2 innings of scoreless relief in the win. The Z's and Royals wrap up the six game series on Monday, the Z's lead the series three games to two.

Game Notes: Z's third baseman Hector Luna drove home his 70th RBI of the season on Sunday. He is tied for 5th in the PCL. Scott Cousins The Z's have played five doubleheaders this season and have swept one, been swept once and split three. The teams played 30 innings in 24 hours over the weekend. The Zephyrs are 73-72 all-time at historic Rosenblatt Stadium.

Coming up - The Zephyrs will wrap up the ten game road-trip on Monday afternoon. The Z's and Royals will play for the final time at historic Rosenblatt Stadium at 12:05. RH Thomas Mastny (2-1, 2.48) will start for the Zephyrs against RH Luis Mendoza (5-7, 4.97). The Z's open a nine game homestand on Tuesday evening. RADIO: 106.1 FM
