The Fresno Grizzlies Justin Leone doubled home William Bergolla to deliver the Grizzlies a 5-4 walk off victory in 13 innings at Chuckchansi Park. Erick Threets pitched three innings and earned the win for Fresno. The Z's trailed 3-0 when Ricky Ledee drilled a three run home run to right field to tie the game in the sixth. The Z's took the lead in the tenth inning with a Fernando Tatis home run. Grizzlies tied the game in the bottom of the tenth and delivered the walk off heroics in the 13th. Justin Leone homered and drove home two RBI for Fresno. Steve Schmoll took the loss for the Z's. The Z's maintain their lead of four games over Oklahoma for first place in the division.
Game Notes: Sundays match up was the first ever game between the Triple A affiliates of the Mets and Giants .... The Z's fall to 4-2 in extra inning games .... The first place Zephyrs have won 12 of their last 16 games ..
Coming Up: The Zephyrs and Grizzlies meet for the second game of the series on Monday night. Phil Humber pitches for the Z's and Chris Begg starts for the Grizzlies in the 9:05 p.m. game at Grizzlies Stadium.
