Fresno Grizzlies News Release

Fresno, CA- The last time the Fresno Grizzlies challenged the Central Valley to eat all of their ice cream, fans showed up with their appetites but could not finish off the endless supply of dessert goodness. So, back by popular demand, the Grizzlies will again be offering fans free all-you-can-eat ice cream this Wednesday, August 8th as the team squares off against the New Orleans Zephyrs in the final game of its current homestand.

If free ice cream is not enough to excite you about coming to one of the final Grizzlies games this season, the Fresno Bee's Season Ten Special should do the trick. In addition to all the ice cream you can eat, kids 12 and under, seniors 55 and over, and military with valid ID can purchase field level reserve tickets for just $1. Plus, fans can purchase special merchandise packages that offer 3 items in the Grizzlies team store for just $10.

After eating ice cream all game long on Wednesday, 2,000 lucky fans will also receive Nesquik Milkshakes as they leave the ballpark. The Grizzlies front office sincerely apologizes for ruining your diet with deliciously free desserts.

The Grizzlies host three more games during their current homestand and then hit the road for five days before beginning their final homestand of the season on Tuesday, August 14. Fresno wraps up their 2007 home schedule on Tuesday, August 21 with a huge Fan Appreciation Day and fireworks show. Tickets to all remaining home games are available at the Chukchansi Park ticket office, by phone at 559-320-TIXS, or online at www.fresnogrizzlies.com.
