
Zephyrs Rally in OKC and Get 4-3 Win

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Mark Canha delivered a eighth inning sacrifice fly to push the visiting New Orleans Zephyrs into the lead and Arquemedes Caminero slammed the door on his second save to give the Zephyrs the 4-3 win.
The struggling Zephyrs have dropped ten of their last 13 games but finally got a few breaks and won for the second time in three days.
Marc Krauss drilled a upper-deck home run in the first inning to give Oklahoma City a 2-0 lead. The Zephyrs answered in the third inning. Matt Angle playing in his 76th game of the season delivered his first home run and it tied the game at two.
The Redhawks took the lead in the third inning after a hit, a hit by pitch and a Domingo Santana RBI base hit. Oklahoma City had plenty of opportunities out-hitting the Zephyrs 11-7 and left ten men on base. The Redhawks also had a runner thrown out at the plate for the first out of the inning in the third inning.
The Z's Josh Rodriguez single to open up the eighth inning off of a reliever Jorge DeLeon (2-1). Jordany Valdespin tripled him home to tie the game. Canha drilled the sac-fly to give the Z's the lead.
Donnie Joseph (2-1) earned his first win for the Zephyrs. He was acquired in a trade last week from the Royals organization.
OKC got a base runner in the ninth inning but Caminero earned his second save of the season.
GAME NOTES
Mark Canha ten game hit streak was snapped with his 0x2 performance with a walk. Canha got his 56th RBI and has moved into 6th place in the PCL. The Zephyrs will add veteran pitcher Brad Penny this weekend. The two time All-Star has 119 career Major League wins. He is expected to pitch on Sunday vs. Memphis.

The Zephyrs continue their series in Oklahoma City. The Zephyrs and Redhawks play Thursday (7:05) at Bricktown Ballpark.
The Zephyrs will start RH Elih Villanueva (8-6, 3.42) against Redhawks RH Asher Wojciechowski (0-1, 5.75). Radio: WMTI 106.1 FM
