Metairie, La -- For the second time in three games, the New Orleans Zephyrs (33-31) were down to their final out, only to rally and beat the Oklahoma City Redhawks (38-26) in their final at-bat. Monday night the Zephyrs came away with a 4-3 victory before 4,475 at Zephyr Field.

With a runner at second and two outs in the ninth, Scott Cousins kept the game alive with an infield single. After Cousins stole second and Mike Cervenak was intentionally walked, Nick Green delivered a game-winning, two-run single over Jake Goebbert's head in left field.

After closing out 22 straight games for the RedHawks over the last two seasons, Jose Valdez (0-3) could not hold on in a second straight save opportunity. The RedHawks now lead the Pacific Coast League with four losses when leading after eight innings.

The RedHawks never trailed until the final play of the game. A Brandon Barnes sac fly in the third broke the scoreless tie to give the RedHawks a 1-0 lead.

Angel Sanchez sent the first pitch of the fifth inning out of the yard for his fourth homer of the year, extending the lead to two runs.

The Zephyrs awoke in the sixth, collecting three straight hits with one out. Cervenak cut the deficit to one with an RBI double, and Green followed with the tying RBI single.

Still tied 2-2 in the eighth, Barnes delivered a two-out RBI single to give the RedHawks the lead and extend his hitting streak to 11 games.

Making his first start for the RedHawks, Armando Galarraga went 4.2 scoreless innings. He allowed only two hits, both to opposing pitcher Tom Koehler. Galarraga walked two and struck out one, but was limited 57 pitches as he continued to work back to full strength.

Koehler was also impressive in a no decision, allowing two runs and four hits over seven innings. He struck out six without a issuing a walk.

Just like in Saturday's comeback, Rob Delaney (3-1) earned the win again for New Orleans.

The RedHawks will try and rebound Tuesday night when they meet the Zephyrs at 7 p.m. Live coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. on AM 1340 The Game, 1340thegame.com, or through the free IHeartRadio app on your mobile device.
