New Orleans Baby Cakes News Release
Metairie, LA - The New Orleans Zephyrs return to Zephyr Field to begin their final homestand of the 2009 season when they host the Nashville Sounds on Friday at 7:00 p.m.
The Zephyrs kick off the weekend with a postgame fireworks show after Friday's contest. The Z's and Sounds meet again on Saturday, Zatarains Zaturday, at 6:00 p.m. Sunday is Fan Appreciation Night, as the Zephyrs will thank their fans with special giveaways throughout the night. After the 6:00 p.m. game, fans are invited to stick around for the final fireworks show of the year, followed by the chance for kids to go on the field to run the bases. The 2009 season comes to an end on Monday, with a 2:00 p.m. start for an American tradition: baseball on Labor Day.
