Zephyrs Open 9-Game Homestand Wednesday

Metairie, LA - The New Orleans Zephyrs return from the road for a five-game series against the first-place Round Rock Express, beginning Wednesday night.

New Orleans has been streaky since the All-Star break, losing seven straight, then winning seven straight, before losing six in a row coming into play on Tuesday. With two hits on Monday night in Oklahoma City, Vinny Rottino became the 14th player in Zephyrs history to record 100 hits in two different seasons.

The pitching probables for the series:

Wednesday 6 PM: RHP Rob Morey (2-2, 2.93) vs. RHP Stolmy Pimentel (3-3, 5.81)

Thursday 7 PM: LHP Chris Narveson (0-3, 5.19) vs. RHP Chi Chi Gonzalez (4-7, 4.41)

Friday 7 PM: TBA vs. RHP Anthony Ranaudo (7-3, 3.87)

Saturday 6 PM: RHP Kendry Flores (3-2, 2.61) vs. RHP Ross Wolf (10-6, 5.72)

Sunday 4 PM: LHP Justin Nicolino (6-7, 3.55) vs. TBA

The homestand begins with Web Wednesday, offering a ticket and food special available exclusively through Z's social media outlets. Budweiser presents Thirsty Thursday, with $1 Pepsi products and draft beers, $2 canned beers, $4 craft beers and $5 well drinks. The first 400 adults 21 and over will also receive a koozie, sponsored by Herzing University. It's also Tinder Night and Chive Meet-Up Night, and fans can purchase a $12 ticket online using the promotional code "KCCO" with half of the proceeds going to the New Orleans Children's Hospital.

The Zephyrs go back in time to 1995 on Friday night, with a post-game fireworks show presented by WWL Radio.

On Saturday, the world-famous ZOOperstars will provide entertainment throughout the game and fans can play Baseball Bingo for a chance to win prizes from Treasure Chest Casino. Sunday is Back-to-School Day, with an expo on the concourse, and BirdZerk will bring his zany antics to Zephyr Field. Plus, kids are invited to run the bases on the field following the game.
