New Orleans jumped back into first place as they defeated Oklahoma 7-0 Sunday at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. The win also helped the Zephyrs (13-11) avoid being swept by Oklahoma (12-11) in their four-game series.

With no score in the top of the third, Andy Tracy hit a grand slam to center field to put the Zephyrs on top 4-0. New Orleans added three more in the fourth on its way to a 7-0 victory.

New Orleans starter Jorge Sosa (4-0) put the clamps on an Oklahoma offense that had scored 26 runs in the first three games of the series. Sosa pitched six scoreless innings, and three Zephyr relievers combined to finish the last three innings for the shutout.

Alfredo Simon (1-3) allowed seven runs on six hits in four innings of work for the loss. Steve Rowe did pitch four scoreless innings out of the bullpen for the RedHawks.

Albuquerque visits Oklahoma Monday at 7:05 CDT and New Orleans returns home to host Round Rock at 7:05 CDT.
