New Orleans Baby Cakes News Release
Andy Tracy drilled a grand slam into centerfield and the New Orleans Zephyrs blanked the Oklahoma Redhawks 7-0 on Sunday afternoon at AT&T Ballpark in Oklahoma City. Tracy drove in four runs with the Zephyrs third grandslam of the young season. The Z's pitching staff silenced an Oklahoma line-up that had outscored the Zephyrs 26-5 in the previous three games. Jorge Sosa picked up the league best fourth win and pitched six shutout innings. The bullpen put on the finishing touches working the final three innings. The shutout was the Z's second of the season. Jesus Feliciano had three hits for the Z's and Anderson Hernandez drove in a pair of runs. Oklahoma wins the series taking three out of the four games.
