
'Young Guns' Poster Giveaway Saturday

BRIDGEPORT, CT â The American Hockey League's 2001-02 Regular Season Champion and Eastern Conference Playoff Champion Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, will give "Young Guns" posters to the first five-thousand fans who enter this Saturday's 7:05 p.m. home game versus the Saint John Flames. The posters will feature top Islanders prospects Trent Hunter and Justin Mapletoft who will sign autographs following the game. The "Young Guns" posters will be given away in conjunction with Success Printing, Inc. of Norwalk.
Saturday will also be "Stratford Appreciation Night" at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard with discounted tickets, $12.50, for Stratford residents who show proof of residency at the box office, a ceremonial face-off involving Town Council Chairman Robert Calzone and the Stratford High School Chamber Singers and Bunnell High School Studio Voices performing the national anthem with the colors presented by Stratford Cub Scout Pack 172 before the game.
The Sound Tigers will also hold an "All-Star Merchandise Sale" this weekend with substantial savings on jerseys, hats, shirts and much more. Fans can also save on merchandise on-line at www.soundtigers.com or at the Team Store at Arena at Harbor Yard.

The Sound Tigers will return from the AHL All-Star break with a pair of home games this weekend hosting the Hartford Wolf Pack Friday at 7:35 p.m. and the Saint John Flames Saturday at 7:05 p.m. All Sound Tigers' games are broadcast live on "The ZONE" FOX Sports Radio 1300 AM and at www.soundtigers.com. WSTC/WNLK 1400/1350 AM also broadcasts road games.
