Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz News Release
OKLAHOMA CITY YARD DAWGZ (6-6) vs. ALABAMA STEELDOGS (5-7) SATURDAY, July 7, 2007- FORD CENTER (17,884) 7:05 P.M. CST
This Saturday, the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz will host the Alabama Steeldogs (5-7) for their first of three home games in the month of July. Despite their dismal offensive performance last week against Florida, the Yard Dawgz are still one of the best offenses in the league and average 315 yards/game.
Both Oklahoma City and Alabama are enduring losing streaks going into Saturday's contest and are battling for the playoffs. Comparatively, the Yard Dawgz score more points per game than the Steeldogs and have allowed only 8 sacks on the season, compared to Alabama's 25.
"Alabama's a team that doesn't give up a lot of points," commented Head Coach John Fitzgerald. "They're very solid and we have our work cut out for us."
All Yard Dawgz games will be broadcast live on KTOK AM1000 and KGFF AM1450 and also online at www.ktok.com and www.kgff.com. Each game can be viewed by clicking the B2 Networks link found on the Yard Dawgz website, www.okcyarddawgz.com.
