Yankees Steal 5-4 Win at McCoy

The PawSox went into the seventh inning on Thursday night with a 4-2 lead. Reliever Daniel Bard allowed three unearned runs and Pawtucket fell 5-4. Bard and Jose Iglesias made the errors that opened the doors for Scranton. Bard (2-2) walked two and hit a batter as he was charged with a blown save and saddled with the loss.

J.C. Linares and Andy LaRoche homered for the PawSox. For LaRoche, it was his fourth homer since Monday. He has 10 RBI in that span. Che-Hsuan Lin and Jon Hee had two hits apiece. The two teams have split the first four games of the series and as a result, the PawSox trail in the I.L. North by 2 games.

The series finale is scheduled for Friday night at 7:05 p.m. Zach Stewart (3-3) faces Adam Warren (6-8).
