Down to their final 18 games of the regular season, the IronPigs (67-59) play Game Three of a four-game series against the sixth-place Buffalo Bisons (60-65) at Coca-Cola Field... With a 4-1 win last night, the Pigs snapped a three-game road losing streak and evened the series 1-1. Since July 6, the Pigs have gone just 16-23 in their last 39 contests -- going from a season-high 3.0-games up to 3.0-games back in the North...Buffalo -- the Mets' top affiliate -- has still dumped six of its last nine games. Once 49-45 on July 14, the Bisons have gone just 11-20 in their last 31 affairs.

LHP Tom Cochran (6-5, 4.57) will start for LHV against Mets' top prospect RHP Zack Wheeler (0-0, 2.53).

First-Pitch tonight is at 1:05 p.m...

The Pigs won 4-1 last night, marking their 50th win by three-or-fewer runs this season -- a total that leads all of Triple-A baseball... The Pigs are 50-28 in such games and 106-70 during the Ryne Sandberg Era... after going 112-165 in such games the first 3 years.
