Charleston RiverDogs News Release

LAKEWOOD, NJ - The New York Yankees have announced the following roster moves affecting the Charleston RiverDogs roster:

-   RHP Daniel Ramos - Placed on Charleston 7-Day Disabled List (Retroactive to 5/8)

-   RHP Austin DeCarr - Transferred from Extended Spring Training to Charleston

DeCarr, 23, returns for his second stint with the RiverDogs after making 13 appearances (five starts) in a Charleston uniform in 2017. The former 3rd round prep pick out of Foxborough, Mass. went 2-1 with a 5.87 ERA with 32 strikeouts and 29 walks in 30 2/3 innings in the SALLY League before finishing the year with Short Season Staten Island.

DeCarr gets set to make his debut in what will be his fourth year as a pro. The right-hander was shutdown in Spring Training in 2015 before undergoing Tommy John surgery. He made 10 starts with Staten Island in 2016.

Charleston (16-16) continues their Northern tour on Thursday night in Lakewood, taking on the BlueClaws (17-15), the Class A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, in game two of a three-game tilt at FirstEnergy Park starting at 6:35 p.m. The game broadcast begins at 6:30 on riverdogs.com and the RiverDogs TuneIn radio station. The club's radio affiliate will join the game in progress starting at 7 p.m on WTMA 1250 AM.

After the three-game series in Lakewood and four in Hagerstown, MD, the RiverDogs return to The Joe for a four-game set against the Columbia Fireflies, starting with a Budweiser Thirsty Thursday presented by 95SX on May 17.

RiverDogs single-game tickets are now available for the 2018 campaign, the club's 25th season as the RiverDogs and their "175th season in dog years." Ticket information can be secured by contacting the box office at (843) 577-DOGS (3647) or online at www.riverdogs.com/tickets.
