Pittsburgh Xplosion News Release
PITTSBURGH, DEC. 12. -- Led by Coleco Buie's 36 points, the Pittsburgh Xplosion defeated the Toledo Ice 121-102 at Mellon Arena tonight to snap a three-game losing streak. Armon Gilliam had 20 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocked shots for the Xplosion, who improved their record to 6-7, while Janerio Spurlock added 21. Jeremy King paced the Ice (5-6) with 18 points and 8 rebounds.
The Xplosion play the Cleveland Rockers this Thursday, Dec. 15 at Mellon Arena at 7 p.m. All military personnel and veterans will be admitted free to the game with ID presented at the Box Office; military family members pay just $5, a 60% discount. The Xplosion will also be collecting new toys at Mellon Arena for "Toys for Tots" before the game.
