Agrazal: Surrendered 5 R (4 ER) on 10 H over 4.0 IP in 6/06 ND vs. DEL with 2 K(9-5 'Birds in 13)
Almonte: Making first start of 2016 season (6-7 over two levels with a combined 4.41 ERA in 2015)
LEADING OFF: West Virginia lost a 4-2 final on Friday evening at Columbia. Mitch Keller allowed a run in the first, two in the third and one in the fifth as the Fireflies built their edge. Columbia starter PJ Conlon did not allow a base hit until the fourth inning. In the seventh, West Virginia knocked Conlon out of the game with two runs on four hits, keyed by RBI singles from Alfredo Reyes and Tyler Filliben. The Power managed two walks in the eighth but did not threaten again. Keller took the loss while Conlon earned the win. Alex Palsha pitched the ninth for his ninth save. Reyes had the only multi-hit game for the Power.
ROAD WOES: The Power are now 12-17 away from Appalachian Power Park. The club boasts a .265 average at home with season with 157 runs scored over 31 home games, averaging 5.1 runs per game. On the road, the Power are batting .215 with 91 runs in 29 games, an average of 3.1 runs per game. The staff earned run average is comparable regardless of location with a 3.56 ERA at home and a 3.71 ERA on the road.
BACK IN THE SADDLE: Mitch Keller was added from the Extended Spring Training roster earlier on Friday and made his 11th start of the year last night. The right-hander has not pitched since May 31 with the Pirates curtailing his innings. To clear a roster spot, Pittsburgh transferred Logan Sendelbach to the GCL Pirates roster.
DOWN TO ONE: With nine games to go in the first half, the Power's elimination number is down to one. Any West Virginia loss or Hagerstown win over the next week and a day will eliminate the Power from first half playoff contention.
DOMINO EFFECT: An injury caused outfielder Tito Polo to leave Thursday's game in the eighth inning. Logan Ratledge started the game in left, but moved to center when Polo was injured. Tyler Filliben began the game at short and moved to left. Alfredo Reyes entered on the shift and played short. Six batters later, Ratledge relieved Julio Vivas on the mound, Daniel Arribas moved from first to center and Carlos Munoz took over at first base. Neither Filliben or Arribas had ever played the outfield professionally. Ratledge threw three pitches to end the inning.
MATCH GAME: Mitchell Tolman matched John Bormann's current 18 game on-base streak with a walk on Thursday. The 18-game streaks are the longest by any Power player this season and are also the longest active on-base streaks in the South Atlantic League entering play tonight.
STAR STUDDED: The South Atlantic League announced its All-Stars on Tuesday and West Virginia will be represented by three players and trainer Dom Cappozzo. Mitch Keller was tabbed as the starting pitcher for the Northern Division roster and Tito Polo was chosen to start in left field. Ke'Bryan Hayes was also selected as a reserve infielder. The 2016 South Atlantic League All-Star Game will be played in Lexington on June 21.
POWER POINTS: Jameson Tallion was recalled by the Pittsburgh Pirates and made his Major League debut Wednesday against the New York Mets at PNC Park, becoming the 51st former Power player to reach the Majors and second this season (Alen Hanson on May 16)...Logan Ratledge entered play Wednesday without a run batted in over 17 games this season. The utility player drove in two in the win... Former Power pitcher Alex McRae was promoted from Bradenton to Altoona on Friday. The right-hander was 8-9 for West Virginia last year with a 4.98 ERA.
AROUND THE ORGANIZATION: Pittsburgh fell 9-3 in 13 innings to St. Louis. The Cards plated six in the 13th off Juan Nicasio, the eighth Pirates pitcher of the game... Indianapolis lost a 5-4 final to Syracuse... Altoona lost 9-2 at Reading. Austin Meadows doubled to extend his hitting streak to 19 straight... Bradenton scored once in the ninth, but fell 3-2 to Tampa. Colten Brewer allowed three runs over six and two-thirds in his seventh loss of the year.

The evening is also Garnet Career Center Night and will be followed by a post game concert from Tyler Childers and Ona.
