
Wranglers' Mosienko Called Up To Bridgeport, Miller Added

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that center Tyler Mosienko has signed with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League. The Wranglers also announced the signing of rookie forward Adam Miller.
Mosienko leaves Las Vegas with career highs in goals (22) and assists (35) for 57 points in 63 games played. At the time of his recall, Mosienko placed second best on the team in assists and points. The 5-foot-8, 175-pound forward has posted 13 multiple point games this season. The Manitoba native is expected to make his AHL debut on Wednesday when Bridgeport visits Worchester. In 134 games as a Wrangler, Mosienko has posted 40 goals and 69 assists for 109 points. For his career, the center has 53 goals and 103 assists for 156 points in 206 games. Mosienko has missed one game due to injury in his pro career, playing in 206 of a possible 207 games.
Mosienko was selected as a National Conference All-Star in 2007 with Las Vegas and as an American Conference All-Star with Greenville in 2006. Grandfather Bill Mosienko played 14 seasons for the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks, setting the NHL record for fastest three goals in 21 seconds. Bill Mosienko was inducted into the NHL Hall of Fame in 1965.
Miller is expected to make his pro debut this evening when the Wranglers host the Alaska Aces at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena. The 23-year old recently wrapped up a four-year stint at Ferris State University. In 2007-08, Miller's senior season, the forward finished second on the team with 17 assists, 25 points and 104 shots on net in 36 games played. The 6-foot, 185-pound center finished his college career with 30 goals and 47 assists for 77 points in 146 NCAA contests.
The Wranglers will host Alaska starting Tuesday, March 18th at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena. Alaska will remain in Las Vegas for games on Thursday and Friday night at 7:05 pm.
