Florida's McArdle Suspended Five Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Florida left wing Kenndal McArdle for five games and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #778 at South Carolina on Mar. 15.

McArdle is suspended and fined under Rule 41 Physical Abuse of Officials.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

McArdle is eligible to return on Apr. 1 against Pensacola. He will miss Florida's games at Gwinnett (Mar. 20), at South Carolina (Mar. 21), against Gwinnett (Mar. 26), against Gwinnett (Mar. 28) and against Gwinnett (Mar. 29).
