Cashman Reassigned to Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. (March 18, 2008)-Head Coach Troy Mann announced today that defenseman Reid Cashman has been reassigned to the Columbia Inferno from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

The 6'2", 205 lbs., Red Wing, Minnesota native has appeared in eight games for the Marlies registering three assists and eight penalty minutes. During his time in the ECHL with the Inferno, Cashman has played in 35 games recording 20 points (three goals, 17 assists) and 20 penalty minutes so far this season.

Prior to turning pro, Cashman had 148 points (23 goals, 125 assists) and 246 points in 151 career games with Quinnipiac University from 2003-04 through 2006-07.

The Columbia Inferno host the Pensacola Ice Pilots on Wednesday, March 19 for 80's night at 7:05 p.m.
