
Wranglers Make It Seven Straight With 3-2 Win Over RoadRunners

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers (25-18-4, 54 Points) defeated the Phoenix RoadRunners (20-22-3, 43 Points) 3-2 in front of 3,230 fans Tuesday night at the Orleans Arena. Forwards Chris Ferraro, Chris Neiszner, and Tyler Mosienko each scored for Las Vegas, extending the team's winning streak to seven games. Wranglers' goalie Glenn Fisher stopped 28 of 30 shots, improving to 4-0-0 with Las Vegas this season. Winger Mick Lawrence added two assists as the Wranglers moved to 15-8-2 at home this season. John McNabb and Jeremy Swanson scored in the RoadRunners defeat. Phoenix goalie Craig Kowalski stopped 27 shots, taking his 13th loss of the season. With the win, the Wranglers tie Ontario for first place in the Pacific Division. The Wranglers will play Wednesday night in Ontario at 7:00 PM.
Las Vegas forward Chris Ferraro opened the scoring with his 17th goal of the season at 15:22 of the first period. Forward Hugo Carpentier slipped a pass to Ferraro for the 1-0 Wranglers lead.
Just 58-seconds into the second period, Las Vegas center Chris Neiszner expanded the lead to 2-0. While on a five-on-three power play, Mick Lawrence set up Neiszner in the slot for his 16th goal of the season. Phoenix forward John McNabb cut the lead in half with a power-play goal at 16:34, to make it 2-1 Las Vegas after two periods play.
In the third period, Wranglers forward Tyler Mosienko padded the lead with his 12th goal of the season at 3:51. Lawrence set up Mosienko, who snapped the puck from the left-wing circle to make it 3-1 Las Vegas. Phoenix defenseman Jeremy Swanson tallied his third goal of the year at 17:34 for the 3-2 final.
The Wranglers will travel to Ontario for a game Wednesday night at 7:00 PM and again at 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 14th. Las Vegas will return home to host Utah at 2:05 PM on Sunday, February 15th. The Wranglers will play their last home game of February on Monday, February 16th at 2:05 PM against Phoenix.
