
Wranglers Lynch recalled to Omaha

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today, right wing Darren Lynch has been recalled to the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League. Lynch will join the team in time for its game against the San Antonio Rampage on Saturday, October 15th.
Lynch begins his second pro season after breaking in with the Wranglers in 2004-05. He had 15 goals and 14 assists for 29 points in 54 games. He also led the team with a plus-10. Prior to turning pro, he played in 291 WHL games with Vancouver and Lethbridge, scoring 88 goals and 130 assists for 218 points. Lynch scored two goals and had an assist in two pre-season games for the Knights this year.
The Wranglers now have 21 players on their roster. Goaltenders Mike McKenna and Marc Magliarditi join defensemen Mike McBain, Christian Chartier, Tim Hambly, Lee Green, Tyler Sloan and Scott Schoneck. Also signed are forwards Chris Stanley, Dan Tudin, Dustin Johner, Kevin Bergin, Chris Neiszner, Evan Schwabe, Thomas Bellemare, Shawn Limpright, Marco Peluso, Jordan Cameron, Nick Anderson, Adam Huxley and Todd Alexander.
The Wranglers will play in two preseason games this weekend, starting Friday, October 14th in Long Beach at the Glacial Gardens Arena at 7:30 pm against the Long Beach Ice Dogs. Sunday, October 16th, the Wranglers will host the Ice Dogs at 5:05 pm at the Orleans Arena.
The Wranglers will open the 2005-06 home season at the Orleans Arena on Tuesday, October 25th at 7:05 pm against the Utah Grizzlies. Wranglers' ticket locations are the Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast and South Coast (opening in 2006) or at the Galleria Mall guest relations/ticket centers. Las Vegas starts the 2005-06 season on the road at Florida on October 21st at 4:30 pm (PST).
