Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers (35-10-7, 77 Points) defeated the Bakersfield Condors (16-26-9, 41 Points) 4-3 in front of 3,347 fans at the Orleans Arena on Monday night. Center Tyler Mosienko scored the game-winning goal 7:00 minutes into the third period. Forwards Adam Cracknell, Ryan Donally and Aki Seitsonen each scored in the victory. Goalie Daniel Manzato made 26 saves, improving to 17-5-3 on the season. Las Vegas will play in Alaska at 8:10 pm (PST) on Friday night.
The Wranglers took the first lead of the game just 25-seconds into the contest as Aki Seitsonen scored his eighth goal of the season. Marco Peluso and Bruce Mulherin set up the only goal of the first period.
Las Vegas pushed the lead to 2-0 just 1:34 into the second period as Adam Cracknell poked in a rebound for his 27th score of the year. The Condors countered with two goals just 38-seconds apart. Defenseman Kevin Truelson scored and Martin Kubaliak followed with his first tally of the year, tying the game 2-2.
The Wranglers broke the tie game with a pair of unassisted goals in the final period. Left wing Ryan Donally notched his 11th goal of the season for a 3-2 Las Vegas lead at 4:06 of the third period. Tyler Mosienko scored his 18th goal of the season at the seven minute marker, giving the Wranglers a 4-2 lead. Bakersfield trimmed the Las Vegas lead to 4-3 as Truelson scored his second goal of the game with 43-seconds left.
Las Vegas will now embark on an 11-day road trip with three games in Alaska and Victoria.
