Jackals Add May And Donati For Dance With The Devils

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that center Scott May and right wing Tyler Donati have been loaned to the club by the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League. The club also signed goaltender Ervins Mustokovs (MOO-stuh-kahvs) to an ECHL contract. All three players will be in the Jackals line-up this evening when Elmira hosts Trenton in a 7:05 p.m. face-off at First Arena.

May, 26, began the season with Elmira, but has seen extended time with both Binghamton (AHL) and Manitoba. In 10 games with the Jackals, May produced 14 points on five goals and nine assists. In 26 games combined at the American Hockey League level with the Senators and Moose, he scored twice and added six assists for eight points. May signed an American Hockey League contract with Binghamton on February 13th.

Donati, a 21-year old rookie under contract to Binghamton, makes his second stop in Elmira this season after going pointless in one contest January 11th against Johnstown. In 46 games with the Senators, Donati has six goals and 12 assists for 18 points. Last year with Belleville of the Ontario Hockey League, he piled up 129 points in 66 games with the Bulls.

Mustokovs was signed as the Jackals' emergency back-up goaltender February 15th. The 23-year old joined Elmira after making 19 appearances with the Knoxville IceBears (Southern Professional Hockey League) in posting a 10-5-1 record with one shutout, a 2.94 goals against average (2nd) and .908 save percentage (4th).
