Wranglers Beaten By Falcons 2-1 In Shootout

Las Vegas, NV – The Las Vegas Wranglers lost to the Fresno Falcons 2-1 Friday night in front of 4,408 fans. The Wranglers scored first at 13:34 of the second period as Darren Lynch punched in a rebound for the 1-0 lead. Fresno countered back at 8:40 of the third to tie the game at one. Falcon's winger Shaun Sutter scored the only shootout goal to give the Falcons the 2-1 victory. Wranglers' goalie Sebastien Centomo made 23 saves in the loss. Falcons' goaltender Brett Jaeger stopped 27 shots and all five in the shootout to secure the victory. The Wranglers will face the San Diego Gulls tomorrow night at 7:05 at the Orleans Arena.

Wranglers rookie center Chris Stanley suffered a broken left elbow in the third period and will be placed on the injured reserve for the remainder of the season.

On Saturday night, "ZOOperstars" will perform at the game. Prior to the game on the Saturday, Port of Subs will host the "Port of Subs" pre-game party in the parking lot of the Orleans Arena from 4:00-6:00 pm.
