Chiefs Fall in OT to Wheeling

Johnstown, PA- Wheeling Nailers defensemen Ed McGrane scored with 1:04 left in overtime on the power play to lift the visitors to a 3-2 win over the Johnstown Chiefs Saturday night in front of a sellout crowd of 3,844 at the War Memorial Arena.

Jeremy Van Hoof and Dmitri Tarabrin scored for Johnstown. Hodge and James Laux scored for Wheeling. Chiefs goaltender David Cann made 29 saves while Wheeling goalie Andy Chiodo made 35 saves.

The Chiefs fall to 19-25-14, while Wheeling is now 35-20-4.

The Chiefs are back in action Sunday afternoon at home versus Toledo. Face-off is at 3:00 p.m.
