 Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Bakersfield, Calif. - The Las Vegas Wranglers scored twice in 37 seconds to tie the game up midway through the third period, but Bakersfield would tack on a pair of their own en route to a 4-2 victory on Sunday night. Vegas goaltender Mitch O'Keefe made 21 saves in the loss, his second consecutive start after not appearing in a game since Feb. 25.
The Condors would draw first blood just 45 seconds into the opening period, as Matt Thurber (10) put Bakersfield on top 1-0 with assists from Chris Collins (27) and Greg Miller (28).
Despite doubling up the Condors 10-5 in the shot column during the second period, Bakersfield's 1-0 advantage would hold and the Wranglers headed into the second intermission down by one.
Early in the third period, the Condors would add to their lead, as Collins made it a 2-0 game with his 15th of the season, assisted by Thurber (29). The Wranglers would roar back however, with two goals separated by just 37 seconds to tie the game up 2-2. John Armstrong buried the first of the pair, his 18th of the year, which cut the two-goal lead in half. The score was assisted by Carlo Finucci (26) and Ben Parker (4), his first point as a member of the Wranglers. Chris Francis (14) then tied the game 2-2 with 13:00 remaining, his fourth goal over the past three games, assisted by Greg Coburn (13).
Bakersfield would answer back with a pair of goals of their own, though, as Chase Schaeber (16) put the Condors back on top 3-2 with just 9:49 remaining. Schaeber (17) then added an empty netter with time running out, giving the Condors an eventual 4-2 win.

After that, Las Vegas will make their way over to Stockton for a matchup with the Thunder on Saturday, Apr. 12.
