
Wranglers Announce Opening Day Roster

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced their Opening Day roster for the 2009 - 10 campaign.
Goaltenders - Joel Gistedt and Michael Ouzas
Forwards - Greg Collins, Kyle Hagel, Jeff Hazelwood, Matt Kang, Mick Lawrence, Ned Lukacevic, Adam Miller, Chris Neiszner, Andrew Orpik, Josh Prudden, Shay Stephenson, Matt Watkins, Ryan Weston and Brett Wilson
Defensemen - Robbie Bina, Chris Frank, Sean Hurley, Jason Krischuk, Nick Ross, John Schwarz and Craig Switzer.
In finalizing the roster the Wranglers announced several moves.
The Wranglers announced that they have agreed to terms with forward Kyle Hagel. Hagel, 24, will be entering his second professional season after four years at Princeton University. The gritty forward played in 41 games during the 2008 - 09 season and totaled 7 goals and 6 assists to go along with 143 penalty minutes with the Fresno Falcons, Reading Royals and Rochester Americans
Forwards Ryan Weston, Brett Wilson and Jeff Hazelwood were placed, respectively, on the 21-day, 7-day, and 3-day injured reserved with undisclosed injuries. The Wranglers also announced that forward Dan Riedel was granted his release.

The Wranglers open the 2009-10 season at home on Friday, October 16, 2009, at 7:05 PM against Utah. 2009-10 season seat packages are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located adjacent to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
