Wranglers Announce First-Round Playoff Dates
March 19, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the first three home dates for the 2013 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
The Wranglers will play three games at Orleans Arena in the best-of-seven first round on:
Game 3 - Monday, April 8, at 7:05 p.m.
Game 4 - Tuesday, April 9, at 7:05 p.m.
Game 5 - Wednesday, April 10, at 7:05 p.m. (if necessary)
With close races for seeding throughout the Western conference, first-round matchups between teams have not yet officially been determined. The Wranglers are currently the sixth seed, and the team's two most likely first-round opponents are the Idaho Steelheads (3rd seed) and Stockton Thunder (4th seed). No matter the contender, the Wranglers will play Games 3 and 4, and 5 if necessary, as scheduled.
Playoff ticket packages and group tickets are available through the Wranglers front office at (702) 471-PUCK (7825). Adult tickets start at $21, and youth tickets are $8. The Wranglers clinched a playoff spot on Friday, March 1, after winning 2-1 over the San Francisco Bulls. Last season, the Wranglers lost to the Florida Everblades in the 2012 Kelly Cup Finals.
The Wranglers wrap up the regular season with five home games starting tonight against the Bakersfield Condors. The 7:05 p.m. game will also feature former goaltender Marc Magliarditi being honored for his induction into the ECHL Hall of Fame earlier this year and free Wranglers all-time team posters for the first 1,000 fans.
Celebrating 10 seasons of Wranglers hockey this year, group events are available at all home games, including pre-game ice skating parties, private luxury suites, and rink-side catered party boxes. Groups of ten or more can sit together starting at $13 per ticket, and feature perks such as in-game group recognition and "buy one, get one free" Chuck-A-Puck vouchers. Take advantage of the best deals by calling the Wranglers front office at (702) 471-PUCK . The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at Orleans Arena, located next to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Ave.
