Elmira Jackals News Release

ELMIRA, N.Y. - March 19, 2013 - The Elmira Jackals announced today that defenseman Kyle Bushee has returned to the team from his loan to Binghamton of the American Hockey League.

Bushee, a fifth-year pro out of Canisius College, had been up with the B-Sens for the second time this season. He dressed in three games on this call up to Binghamton and registered two shots on goal along with six penalty minutes. Bushee has also been called up twice by the AHL's Norfolk Admirals and played in a pair of games.

Bushee, a 6-0, 185-pound defender, is tied with Jordon Southorn for the most points by a Jackals defenseman this season. His 31 points (8G, 23A) are tied for his most in a single season after notching 31 (7G, 24A) for Wheeling in 2010-11. Bushee also clocks in at a +16 rating which is second best on the club to Southorn's +23, and the best +/- rating of his career.

Bushee is expected to be in the lineup this week when the Jackals play four games in five days against Trenton and Fort Wayne.
