Idaho Steelheads News Release
Boise, ID (3/19/13) - The Idaho Steelheads, in conjunction with CenturyLink Arena and the ECHL, announced Tuesday that single-game tickets for the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs, presented by KeyBank, will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 22.
The third-seeded Steelheads don't know who their first-round opponent will be yet. It will be one of the following teams - Colorado Eagles, Las Vegas Wranglers, Stockton Thunder, or Utah Grizzlies. No matter which of the four teams Idaho faces, Games 1 and 2 of the first-round, best-of-seven playoff series will be Wednesday and Thursday, April 3 and 4, at Boise's CenturyLink Arena.
The Steelheads and CenturyLink Arena are offering fans the opportunity to double their playoff fun by purchasing tickets for Game 1 this weekend. Any fan who purchases a ticket to Game 1 at the CenturyLink Arena box office on either Friday, March 22, or Saturday, March 23, will receive a FREE ticket to Game 2. The offer is not valid via the internet or telephone - purchases must be made in person, at the box office, and on either Friday or Saturday.
The CenturyLink Arena box office opens at 10 AM on Friday and 1 PM on Saturday.
Single-game tickets to future playoff games will be made available for purchase once it is determined the games will be played. For instance, tickets for Game 6 of the first-round playoff series will go on sale as soon as it is known that Game 6 will be necessary in the best-of-seven game format.
The CenturyLink Arena box office can be reached via telephone by calling 208-331-8497. Fans also have the option of purchasing online at www.idahosteelheads.com .
Season-Ticket Holders have until 10 AM Friday to secure their seats for every possible playoff game. Once single-game tickets go on sale, fans cannot be guaranteed the same seat for each contest. Season-Ticket Holders are urged to contact their account executive for further information on playoff tickets as well as Season-Ticket renewal for the 2013-14 season.
