
Reading's Gill Named Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Riley Gill of the Reading Royals is the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for March 11-17.
The 28-year-old went 3-0-0 with one shutout, a 1.00 goals-against average and a .969 save percentage in three appearances last week.
Gill made 27 saves in a 7-1 win against Wheeling on Wednesday, turned aside all 34 shots he faced in a 2-0 victory over Elmira on Friday and stopped 32 shots in a 3-2 win against Cincinnati on Saturday.
A native of Northfield, Minn., Gill is 7-2-0 with two shutouts, a 1.34 goals-against average and a save percentage of .950 in nine games with the Royals this season. He has allowed two goals or less in eight of his nine appearances.
Gill has appeared in 80 career ECHL games with Reading, Kalamazoo and Victoria posting an overall record of 45-24-9 with seven shutouts, a 2.70 goals-against average and a save percentage of .912.
