WORLD-FAMOUS ZOOPERSTARS! WILL APPEAR ON SATURDAY, JAN. 20 Jam-packed promotional night also includes a Devon Toews bobblehead giveaway BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (December 13, 2017) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers, proud AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders, are thrilled to announce the world-famous ZOOperstars! are coming to Webster Bank Arena on Saturday, Jan. 20, transforming their 7 p.m. game against Providence into an exciting doubleheader of promotions.
The popular, zany-costumed characters will entertain families with their crazy antics throughout the evening and the first 2,500 fans in attendance will also receive a one-of-a-kind Devon Toews bobblehead, courtesy of IBEW Local Union 488. Doors open at 6 p.m. for one of the most jam-packed promotional lineups of the season.
"The ZOOperstars! are certainly one of the most popular acts in the sports world and we're thrilled to welcome them to Webster Bank Arena for our great fans to enjoy," Sound Tigers President Michael Picker said. The nationally-renowned routine is one of the most popular acts in sports entertainment, which features a hilarious intermission show consisting of inflatable characters with funny names, such as Bobby Orangutan, Squidney Crosby, Mackeral Jordan, Tim Tebull and more.
