
Worcester Sharks announce possible playoff dates and scenarios

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the Worcester Sharks have clinched a playoff spot in the Atlantic Division in the race for the Calder Cup. With the Worcester Sharks and the Portland Pirates battling for third place in the division in the final weekend of the American Hockey League's regular season, the two possible scenarios for the Atlantic Division Semifinals have been announced.
The third-place Sharks (41-34-1-2) currently lead the fourth-place Pirates (37-31-3-7) by one point in the standings. The two scenarios for the best-of-seven Atlantic Division Semifinals, which will follow a 2-1-1-1 format, are as follows:

Season ticket holders get the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs at home for free with a $50 deposit down per seat by April 14th. Tickets for home playoff games A and B are currently on sale to the general public. Single-game playoff ticket prices are $18.25, $15.25, and 11.75, reflecting a league-wide increase of $1 over regular season prices.
In addition, fans may purchase a variety of Playoff ticket packages:
- Family Fun Pack - 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, and 4 sodas for just $65 ($16.25 per extra person).
- Playoff Fun Pack - 4 flex vouchers and either 1 signed Sharks stick or 4 Sharks camouflage hats for $66 (16.50 per extra person).
- Playoff Flex Pack - 10 flex vouchers for the entire playoffs for $140.
