
Woodchucks Do It Again: Seventh Walk off in 11

With outstanding performances on the mound from both sides, the game would cruise into the bottom of the 11th inning as the Woodchucks would do it again. A walk off hit by Eric Filia Snyder would decide the 4-3 game.
After three and ý scoreless innings, the Woodchucks broke through, scoring the first run of the night off a single by Jacob Jelmini bringing around Eric Filia-Snyder to take the 1-0 lead.
The Express answered back with a single, and a double to lead off the fifth inning to place the go-ahead run on the bases. Third basemen Jimmy Allen grounded out to Jake Peter to score Josh Scheffert tying the game at one a piece.
Coming in the top of the six, the Express took the lead after a Josh Scheffert single, scoing Casey Gillaspie from second.
The Woodchucks answered right back with back to back hits from Eric Filia- Snyder, and Brendon Hayden. Joe Serrano stepped to the plate and singled to third base, bringing around Filia-Snyder to tie the game.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Woodchucks got another shot at the lead with back-to-back singles by Brooks Braga and Mike Bernal. Madison Carter followed up with an off-the- wall single, loading the bases with one out.
Andrew Hedrick came into relieve Kye Winter in the bottom of the seventh with bases loaded and Eric Filia-Snyder at the plate. Filia-Snyder hit a lined shot out to right field with the sacrifice fly, deep enough to bring around Brooks Braga to take the 3-2 lead.
In the eighth, a wild pitch got away from catcher Nate Irving scoring the tying run, as Ty Forney came across to score making it a 3-3 game heading into the bottom of the eighth.
The Woodchucks held the Express in the top of the ninth inning forcing the game to the bottom of the ninth, where the "ËChucks get yet another opportunity to walk off for their seventh time this year.
The game would continue into the 11th inning. With bases loaded, Eric Filia-Snyder lined a single into the gap to score Nate Irving for the Walk off hit, Woodchucks seventh of the year!
