Woodchucks can't overcome early deficit fall to Bullfrogs, 10-1

Wausau, WIS - The Wisconsin Woodchucks surrendered 10 unanswered runs, including four in the first inning, to the Green Bay Bullfrogs who took this one 10-1.

A sloppy first inning for the Woodchucks as they had three errors in the inning and the Bullfrogs capitalized on those mistakes scoring four runs in the inning.

The Bullfrogs then went on to score six more unanswered runs throughout the game including a four-run sixth inning.

The Woodchucks lone run in the game came in the bottom of the ninth inning when Paul DeJong came into score on a RBI single by Connor Beck.

The Woodchucks will now travel to Green Bay to finish a home and home double header. First pitch is set for 7:05 tonight. The Woodchucks return to Athletic Park tomorrow to face the first-half champions Lakeshore Chinooks. First pitch is set for 7:05.
